Overweight toddlers

Why when you weigh a 4yr old that is 79 pounds their parents argue about them being overweight? Come on your not doing your child any favors letting them snack all day and not feeding him healthy foods. You are creating your kids unhealthy adulthood. If they live that long.

Childhood Vaccinations

Why would parents rather their children die from preventable disease than vaccinate there children? I work in a health department and it amazes me that parents for the most part are there only because it is required for school entry. Then they wonder why their children are so traumatized from getting vaccinated. I Wonder...... you wait to get infant shots and play catch up at 5 yrs old and wonder why they throw a fit when they walk in to the health department. Get them as scheduled and then they don't even remember but wait to start till they are 5 and the traumatizing begins! GEE parent wake up and get a clue..... it is not better to get Measles, meningitis or polio....... Autism is not a risk with these scheduled vaccinations. They don't even include mercury! WAKE UP! We don't want polio to make a comeback!
